Brightbox Group is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.
Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 10.00 tCO2e by 2026. This is a reduction of 31.8%
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following environmental management measures and projects are currently being undertaken, and will continue to be in effect when performing the contract.
- Reduction in travel to meetings, favouring the use of technology to support virtual meetings rather than a face-to-face format
- Operating a paperless business
- Hybrid working environment, where workers are predominantly home based
In the future we plan to implement further measures such as:
- Permanent hybrid working to eliminate carbon production from worker commute
- Further reduction in face-to-face business meetings, with the majority being conducted virtually. Where face to face meetings are unavoidable, greener transport methods such as walking, cycling, or travelling together in a vehicle rather than alone, will be prioritised.
- Formal carbon offsetting initiatives are being investigated within the business currently such as tree-planting or a partnership with Carbon Neutral Britain

Start-up and fast-growth tech-enabled companies such as those operating in eCommerce and FinTech
are enjoying something of a boom period. However, they are not without their own challenges.
Niche resource requirements must be acted on quickly and the digital environments in which they
function are always changing. Also, despite mostly using attractive hybrid working models, resourcing
teams rarely have the expertise to bring in the right skillsets.
With a set of specialisms refined over many years, BrightBox have the agility to source the talent you
need, when you need it whether that be teams, individuals or your own talent.
From scale-ups to multinationals and across the public sector, we’re helping businesses across the
UK and Europe overcome their resourcing challenges.
In a space where good, trusted and knowledgeable people need to be found quickly to join some
of the most dynamic, agile and forward-thinking technology teams, sourcing profiles and facilitating
conversations is not enough, in fact in some cases it can be more of a hindrance than a help.
Searching, screening, interviewing and placing people are cumbersome internal processes that
divert vital time and effort, slowing teams down.
Investing in tech companies can produce stunning returns. It can equally produce returns that are
anything but. The success of any such enterprise depends on the people in it and the standard of
the solutions they’re developing. The ability to grow and scale at pace isn’t without its challenges,
and is often reliant on access to the right people at the right time.
We’ll support you in filling roles where you require a standard of assistance that is expert and
Support alone though, is not enough. Consulting Houses also want to work with partners with a
proven track-record of enhancing the brands they work with and of leveraging their expertise to win
Mid to large corporations operating with tech dependencies face a variety of challenges. Rapid
growth often means the usual channels for hiring fails to provide the requisite standard of talent and
internal resourcing teams struggle with identifying niche skillsets.
